Blood and Honor: Obama's Hitler Youth

I am amazed at the speed at which the recent pivot by the Republican Party's message went from "Obama Death Panel Healthcare" to "Obama Addressing School kids = Hitler Youth Indoctrination".

The sheer number of these "Obama = Hitler" sort of videos is really quite remarkable... I found this one is particularly disturbing.

crooksandliars.com: Obama Speaking to Schoolchildren Is Really 'Recruiting for Hitler Youth.'
wnd.com: Parents rebel against Obama TV speech to schools
washingtonpost.com: Arlington Pulls Up a Desk For President, Entourage
digitaljournal.com: Opinion: President Obama's troubling lesson plan for America's youth
blogs.ajc.com: Even an Obama speech to children sets off partisan outrage
csmonitor.com: Conservatives wave red flags over Obama school speech
dailyherald.com: Obama back-to-school address a matter of debate for local districts
onenewsnow.com: Obama's school speech - social indoctrination?
statesman.com: Schools weigh whether to air Obama
bradenton.com: District may respond to Obama speech
examiner.com: Right wing parents say Obama speaking to students to recruit his 'Hitler youth'
examiner.com: Obama speaks to kids, right wing panics
examiner.com: The President to address school children as "Educator in Chief"

If you watch these videos of the original Hitler youth, You can make the comparison of whether President Obama's education policies have made America look like those in Nazi Germany. (Hitler's kids look a lot blonder, skinnier and better armed if you ask me.)

Call me old fashioned, but as much as I like to see Glenn Beck explain Americorps in lederhosen [ 2 ], I still fondly remember the day that his crazed "Hitler Youth" comparison were directed at Al Gore and Bill Clinton.

George Bush, who promised to be the "education president", never made the mistake during his adminstration of adressing children on television... [ 2 ] Oh, wait... except for those seven minutes...

  1. Does it ever scare you to think how dependent you are on the stupidity of others. I mean if people started saying and thinking things that were rational and sane what you you have to blog about.

  2. In all seriousness, this Obama-smear seems to come straight from neocon central. Obama does not drink the Israel first, USA Second kool-aid, so obviously he's Hitler.

Nice tactics. Very civil discourse. I am afraid the USA has been hi-jacked.

  5. It is springtime for Obama, in Washington! So what if the calendar says September. I can feel a "Producers" style song and dance coming on!

  6. As Bill Maher said, 'In the nine months since Barack Obama was elected the Democrats have moved to the right, and the Republicans have moved to a mental hospital.'

    Hell, handbasket? Check.

  7. Why, when the GOP realized pandering the crazies was a huge, huge mistake did they ramp up the efforts?

I can't but help think that Obama is just so very discouraged right now.

  8. Another brilliant satirical ensemble, Dr. Zaius. I never know what to say in a comment because you cover it all.

  9. I wonder if Obama's Kenyan Grandpa palled around with actual German Nazis in actual Nazi Germany as a traitorous war profiteer the way George W. Bush's Wasp Grandpa did? Boy, that'd be hysterical, wouldn't it?

  13. resurgent McCarthyism.

Where is Ed Murrow when we need him?

"We will not walk in fear, one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men."

Deliberate, hateful, decietful scum...... I am so sick of them. This is my half-day. I need a beer.

  14. Wait until you witness the mass hypnosis! You have no idea the powers Obama possesses. The children will all exit school with buckets on their head, like in the Spongebob movie, only they'll be chanting "All Hail Obama!" instead of "All Hail Plankton!"

  15. I love it that you got the H.H. on the dagger, that is so fucking wrong and bad.

Gosh, I think I need to change my pants.

  16. Great blog Dr. Zaius. You do realize your existence is another pain in the ass to intelligent design believers that have to admit that humans aren't the top of the ladder though. As we speak Jimmy Swaggert is hollering for someone to get that damn dirty ape off his intelligent evolution chart.

  17. After President Obama tells kids that they should study hard and stay in school, Gov. Bobby Jindal can present the GOP's "Opposing View".

  18. Yea, Bobby Jindal, the same one that wanted to cut the USGS funding for Volcanic Research and observation, because he thinks, "There aint no Volcanoes or Volcanic Hazards in the U.S."

Yep, Bobby Jindal, He's a suitor!

  20. Darwin's Dagger: I know! I would have to blog only about chocolate cake and ice cream. ;o)

Tea Break: I think that the mistake is because they both have a funny moustache. Oh, wait... No - that's not it... ;o)

Tengrain: Actually that song is covered by the ninth video, "Barack Obama Hitler Youth Comparison". It's so nice to see the young people being patriotic! ;o)

Darkblack: Liebe and Frieden are fine, but you gotta have Kuchen and Lebkuchen-Oblaten too! ;o)

Steve: Sadly, it is a real McCain video. :o(

Fran: I love that song! And the costumes. :o)

Susan: That is so true. They all share a room with Ann Coulter. ;o)

Randal Graves: Germaine Gregarious has a tank! It's pink. ;o)

Zencomix: That is so funny to think about... :o)

JustJoeP: If the GOP has their way, "Rockin' the facts" will probably be the next installment of "Mulitiplication Rock"!

OKJimm: If Ed Murrow was alive today, they probably wouldn't hire him. That's what is really sad. :o(

Übermilf: I love that scene! That was a great movie. The wolrd could learn a lot from Spongebob, if only they would listen... ;o)

Seeing Eye Chick: I am glad that you got that joke! I was afraid that it was too obscure. :o)

Truth 101: Despite my status as a theological worrld leader, I believe in evolution! It is clear that apes evolved from the lower forms of life like man.

    ThoughtCriminal: Ha! That's a great line. :o)

Seeing Eye Chick: Bobby Jindal has been handing out a lot of giant sized checks lately too, right after saying how bad the stimulas was. :o)

Comrade Kevin: I don't like the projection booth. I like the consession stand! :o)

  22. Speaking of which. People who actually believe there are Marxist, Socialist, Reverse Racist Nazis; [which is not Zirgar]

How can one be so fucking stupid, and not forget to breathe?

Just wondering. Honestly its just a rhetorical question that I ask myself everyday now, right after coffee, when I first wake up and witness the depraved depth of anti-intellectualism America has sunk to this or that day.

This stuff depresses me horribly and sucks the joy out of being an American. Dr Zaius, I hope that when you experiment on me, that you use good drugs.
