There aren't good guys with guns and bad guys with guns. There are calm people with guns and irritated people with guns, and the change from calm to irritated can happen faster than a blink.
As a former NRA member, and gun owner myself, I am appalled at La Pierre & his doubling down. Why don't we put snakes in every school, since snakes are more effective than guns, and humans have evolved over 100s of thousands of years to fear snakes. No one would mis-use snakes. Principal, serpents for everyone!!!
