What Songs Do You Sing To Your Cat? (Or, All I Have Today Is Kitty Videos)

Kitty Videos

The greatest things about singing to your cat are:

1. They actually like silly lyrics, as long as the lyics are about them.

2. They don't care if you have a terrible singing voice.

3. Sometimes they even sing along!

I've been singing these songs to my cat, Captain Nemo:

(Sung to the tune of the theme of the cartoon, "Go-Go-Gophers")

Neee-MO-nemo nemo-nemo NE-mo ne-MO

(Sung to the tune of the theme to the TV show, "Batman")

NemoNemoNemoNemoNemoNemoNemoNemo NEMO!

(Sung to the tune of "That's Amore")

When Captain Nemo hits your eye like a big pizza pie, That's A-Nemo!

What have you been singing to your cat?

Cats rule! Dogs drool.

  1. I tend to sing songs to my dogs that revolve around the word "stinky" - Obviously I have to make up my own.

  2. you're being really RUFF! RUFF! on the canines, Dr. Z!

The cat shower video was fascinating... I've seen cats drink from faucets, but enjoy a shower from them? That's the first time I've seen that.

  3. Once I sang to my cats. The surgery went well and you can hardly see their claw marks anymore.

  4. My pussy loves it when I sing to her. She likes to be petted too! :P
Loved the videos. That fat cat with those bunnies was very cute. Cats with boxes are always fun too! :)

Now, in picture #3 it looks like someones garbage can is in serious need of being emptied! Better get one of your humans on that! :) (sorry I"m a neat freak...kinda)

  5. Hmmm... just ignore my comment about your garbage. It's been bugging me ever since I pressed "Publish".
Sometimes I write without thinking. Just whatever pops into my head.
It was rude of me and I'm sorry.

Besides, I've got 3 teenagers..I'm betting if I went down into my basement over the weekend, I'd find something similar. :)

    Forgive me?

  6. Dr. Z -

Being catless, and not likely to ever be catted again, and being somewhat enthusiastic about the canine species, I would probably sing something along the lines of "If I Only Had a Dog" from the Wizard of Oz.

  9. I do believe I have fallen in love. A man that sings to his cat? Are you pulling my leg?

Not too hard, I have medical issues. ;)
