The Truth About the Fox News Tea Parties

On April 15th, FOX News' "fair and balanced" network utilized it's considerable promotional resources to promote the Fox News 'Taxed Enough Already (TEA) Party' rallys.

In a gesture of unprecedented participation by a news organization in a political protest, Fox news personalities broadcast live as keynote speakers and hosts at various tea party events alongside several Republican politicians.

Of course FOX News and their 'non-sponsorship' sponsorship had little to do with the formation of the Tea Party events [ 1 ]. They merely ran promotion and public relations.
The principle organizers the local Tea Party© events were actually the lobbyist-run think tanks Americans for Prosperity [ 2 ], former U.S. House Majority Leader Dick Armey's FreedomWorks [ 2 ], and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich's American Solutions [ 2, 3, 4, 5 ].
in an interview with FOX News' Greta Van Susteren, Newt Gingritch went so far as to say, "I think the tax day tea party movement, which is actually Americansolutions.com, is helping with a great deal." (Emphasis added.) [ 1, 2 ].

I was at the doctor's office the other day and they have two t.v.s going. both were tuned in to Fox News. No wonder Americans are so ill-informed.

I agree with your statements, but you need to give references, not just put footnote indicators with no footnotes.
