I've never suspected Tucker Carlson was also NOT GAY......

J.D.: I think that you are too young to remember Chevy Chase on SNL doing Weekend Update. Every show he would announce, "And this just in, Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead."

Jon the Intergalactic Gladiator: If you Google "Santorum," the first item to appear on the list is this. (Holy crap!)

Chris: Senator Larry Craig's "not gayness" appears to be remaining steady at this point.

Distributorcap: Ack! I don't want Senator Larry Craig dead! Just keep him in the news for a few more days until the next Republican asshole makes front page scandal news.

GETkristiLOVE: Hey, that's my line!

BAC: The early bird catches the pop culture catch phrase, don't-cha-know. "That's the news, goodnight and have a pleasant tomorrow."

Dee Loralei: Really? I have always thought that Tucker Carlson's "not gayness" was considered legendary. Carlson is very, very NOT GAY.

Yeah, Senator Craig does not seem happy at all lately...

I used to love the times on "Weekend Update" when they'd start the cameras rolling and Chase would still be on the phone with someone, unaware that the cameras were rolling. My favorite time: he was telling someone, presumably a woman, "No, you don't actually blow on it..."

I agree! That beggining bit was the best part of "Weekend Update". SNL was never quite as funny as it was in those days. They were cutting edge back then.
