Note to Mothers:
Exhaustion may be dangerous - especially to children haven't learned to avoid it by pacing themselves. Exhaustion opens the door a little wider to the bugs and ailments that are always lying in wait. Sugar puts back energy fast - offsets exhaustion. Synthetic sweetners put back nothing. Energy is the first requirement of life. Play safe with your young ones - Make sure that they get sugar every day.

Actually, the world would be a better place if Sugar had bitch-slapped High Fructose Corn Syrup in the early 1980's.

HFCS is responsible for everything that is bad in the world today. Remember that before HFCS Barbara Bush was considered sweet and motherly.

Just sayin'.

I can't read the note to mothers, but really...it's sugar. What could be bad about the sweet goodness of Jello, Cool Whip, a cookie jar of snickerdoodles, even a couple spoonfuls on their Frosted Flakes?

Sugar is just a gateway drug.

Soon your children will be drinking Hershey's Chocolate Syrup straight from the can!*

Oh, the humanity!!!

* Yes, I did this as a child, whenever my parents would leave the house.

do you think Sheena Easton's Sugar Walls is appropraite?

My sugar walls
My sugar walls

Where I came from there's a place called heaven
That's the place where all the good children go
The houses are of silver, the streets are gold
But there's more where you come from, my sugar walls

J.D.: Yes. Advertising is a very strange business.

Jess Wundrun: High Fructose Corn Syrup is definately evil, but you will never get me to believe that Barbara Bush was ever considered sweet and motherly by any human. She is a Lektroid from Planet 10, you know. (Just sayin'.)

Freida Bee: You got me curious, so I blew up the image and typed out the notes:

Don't forget chocolate cake!

Dr. Monkey Von Monkerstein: I love old ads! The new scans on your blog are great!

Sleestak: Indeed. Especially if you put sugar on your Life© cereal.

MWB: I too used to drink Hershey's Chocolate Syrup straight from the can. When they got those new squeeze bottles I was in heaven!

Distributorcap: Definately! I agree with Freida Bee - that is pretty impressive! Interesting lyrics...

Freida Bee: Yep!

No, God gave us cocaine to remind us that we have too much money.
