Is that real? How did that line, "I'd ride a double with him anyday?", make it past what I'm assuming (judging by the Archie comic look of the thing) to have been 1960's era censors?

See what the rock and/or roll does? Turns everyone into a pimp or a hooker.

Daveawayfromhome: Hmm... Perhaps she means a double malted milkshake?

Randal Graves: What do you mean? You turned out alright... NOT! ;o)

daveawayfromhome - you should've read Wonder Woman from the Charles Moulton era. Constant bondage. She even wore a horse bridle in one infamous series of panels. His editor later said that he had to take a lot of stuff out because it was too weird. Considering what make it in the imagination reels! Now considering that ole CM was actually William Marston, Vassar prof, it creates some disturbing notions of him surrounded by young coeds.

BTW Linda Harrison from Planet of the Apes was the first actress to ever play Wonder Woman, with an uncredited appearance in a 1967 pilot "Who's Afraid of Diana Prince'. Ellie Wood Walker was Diana Prince, but Harrison appears as her Wonder Woman reflection in a mirror. The pilot never became a series, and was fairly bad:

Quotes:
Diana Prince: Mother, the fate of the free world rests in me!
Wonder Woman's Mother: Oh, all right. Eat first, save the free world later. You can't be a martyr on an empty stomach.
Diana Prince: This can't wait. The nation needs Wonder Woman.
