Bush: "I'm just like George Washington (except the part about being honest and stuff)"
MOUNT VERNON, Va. - President Bush honored the 275th birthday of the nation's first president on Monday, likening George Washington's long struggle that gave birth to a nation to the war on global terrorism.
"Today, Iraq is fighting a war to defend their liberty and way of life from America." said Bush, standing in front of Washington's home. "And as we work to advance the cause of freedom around the world, we remember that the father of our country believed that the freedoms we secured in our revolution were not meant for Americans alone." (No, that is not really what he said.)

I have a theory. George W. planed and executed 911. His way for getting away with it is to make the American people think he's a complete moron incapable of dreaming up anything so sinister.
I have read all about the 911 theories, and some of the evidence sounds almost plausible.
Your theory about Bush's attempt to look like a complete moron so that no one would suspect that he was capable of anything so sinister as 911 may have a flaw, however.
I don't think that anybody really thinks that Bush is in charge of this country. The whole country thinks that Cheney is in charge, and he DOES seem sinister enough to conceive of just about any evil and nefarious plot that you can think of.
