Cool!

People seem to be eagerly awaiting me to go ballistic over this film. More likely I'll just be disappointed as I'd prefer a hard-SF version over the zany film we are getting. I suspect that the trailer contains all the 'best' parts of the movie.

I agree. I have never been all that fond of Will Ferrell. We can only hope that the special effects are good.

I am eager to see the old TV series again, though. I met David Gerrold (one of the show's writers) at a Star Trek convention when I was a kid. He was kind of a dick, though.

Dude, it's been so bloody long since I've seen this. Most excellent news, and now I can make my kids watch it!

It's important to look past the low budget effects and pay attention to the story. What's very interesting is the hate-on the two kids had for each other. Very good characterization for a kid's TV show.

This may be one of those movie's that's better than you would expect. The trailer has me questioning my early naysaying.

I want the original LoL.

Thanks Zaius. I was a big fan of the show. Never cared for the rest of the Kroft stuff but I loved Land of the Lost. When I was 5 years old the Sleestack scared the hell out of me. Then as I went through childhood I developed a soft spot for Enik.

Randal Graves: A new form of torture for the young Randallites! How nice. :o)

Sleestak: I had forgotten about that, but after seeing it again I can see that you are right. Those kids hated each other!

Zirgar: You win the geek crown for the day! ;o)

Dean Wormer: We shall see... Maybe you are right.

The Hermit: Enik was very cool, in his own Vulcan-ish Sleestak way.
