At Sat Nov 15, 09:54:00 AM, Life As I Know It Now said...: I knocked on the doors of 250 of these white people in Morgan County (look it up for it's reputation) and called another 580to ask them to vote for for Obama. We squeaked through and became a blue state so I'm just as happy as can be about that. We encouraged a lot of folks to vote early, gave directions to polling places, and provided rides if needed. If feels really good for our side to win an election. I don't feel that I've wasted my money or time like I have in the past two election cycles. I'm not happy about Daniels though.

This year very red parts of the state turned out for Obama. Oddly, the highest populated area of the state stayed red. This is the area that has been hit hardest by automotive company lay-offs. The mostly densely populated areas of Milwaukee are the exception and like other urban areas of the country, have always been blue.

In the maps you've shown Wisconsin was blue in every statistic except that it tied in over 65 voters.

Jess Wundrun: Cheeseheads unite! It was close in Missouri too, but Obama lost. (I didn't draw the map, the guy just went by final results per state.)

Man is a pestilence.

Dr. Zira, I must caution you. Experimental brain surgery on these creatures is one thing, and I'm all in favor of it. But to suggest that we can learn anything about the simian nature from a study of man is sheer nonsense. Man is a menace, a walking pestilence. He eats up his food supply in the forest, then migrates to our green belts and ravages our crops. The sooner he is exterminated, the better. It's a question of simian survival.
