Rahm Emanuel: Congressional Hit Man
There are many on the left that complain that President elect Barack Obama's choice of Rahm Emanuel for his chief of staff because they don't like some his politics or his position on the Iraq War. [ 1, 2, 3 ]
I can't say that agree with all of his political positions either, but he has only been a member of the House of Representatives since 2003, and he is already the fourth-ranking Democrat in the House, behind Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Leader Steny Hoyer and Whip Jim Clyburn. He must be doing something right.
I have seen him on TV a few times, and he always struck me as direct and to the point, no fluff. He is supposed to be a machiavellian go-to guy, and something of a hatchet man. Maybe it's a good idea for President Obama to make his chief of staff a man with a taste for blood and a few notches on his attache case.
If you have watched Morning Joe on MSNBC lately, then you know that Joe "seven-second delay" Scarborough hates Rahm Emanuel with a passion. That's good enough for me!

All we need is a drug-induced diatribe against Emanuel from Rush Limpdick, and we'll know Obama picked the right guy!
Chicago in da house!
Prepare for some carnage.
That image should be good for causing some wingnut nightmares. I love it!
Dguzman: Aha! No finer recommendation is possible. :o)
Übermilf: Is that where it is? I thought that it was in the US!
Blogger nightjar: I hope!
