Oh shit I haven't seen this in years.
We got this just recently for my 3 year old son (or us ;) ). The thing that bothered him the most at the end was the fact that the light wouldn't turn on in Toby's room when the goblins were taking him. The fire dancers did too, but it was the light that he was talking about still at bedtime. (We do live in a city where last year we lost power once every other month at least, sometimes for multiple days...)
My daughter and I were watching the Magic Dance video and she asked why that guy had boobs. Ah youth.
I haven't seen this before, so we watched it. It's fun, a little scary for kids, but not too much so.

Randal Graves I love this movie, if only for the visuals. The sets are amazing!
John J. Ha! It's funny how fears mimic real life. The film might be kind of scary for 3 year old! But then again, kids are kind of more grown up nowadays.
Jon the Intergalactic Gladiator: The cut of Bowie's waistcoat is very feminine. I assume that is what she was talking about. It is kind of scary for kids that are very young. Great movie, though!
Comrade Kevin: She won an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and s Golden Globe for "A Beautiful Mind". Her film roles include "The Rocketeer", "Mulholland Falls", "Dark City", "Hulk", "House of Sand and Fog", "Dark Water", "Blood Diamond", etc. She will soon star in a remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still". I found this fansite.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one in the room who was totally in love with Jennifer Connelly from the moment I saw her. Man, she's smokin' HAWT.
