I'm on the waiting list for this book at the library. I refuse to pay actual money for it. (but if there's any justice at all, he'll need to use all of the proceeds for his legal defense fund).

You guys all hate him, yeah, I get it. Bush toady, head so far up Bush's ass, etc, etc. But his timing is great. I know, not so good for the families of all those soldier's families, not so good for all of us who didn't get a tax break, not so good for those of us about to loose our homes, have no insurance, lost our jobs cause they moved to China, or India, but great for the upcoming election, great for the judiciary hearing that will now have no trouble getting Rove arrested and brought before the committee to testify under oath. And then the fun begins. I want to see all these fuckers in chains heading off to Gitmo for a lifetime of waterboarding, just cause it isn't torture if the president say it isn't.

I have to admit I do have mixed feelings toward Scott McClellan. He's a day late, a dollar short, and a lot of damage was done while he was either waiting for a relatively safe period to come forward.

But, he came forward at all, and he does deserve credit for that. Furthermore, he did come forward at a time where it does still make some sort of difference. Too late to stop the war in Iraq. Too late to stop the floundering of the economy. Too late to save the innocents in Gitmo and Abu Gharib. Not too late to stop Bush and McCain from starting World War III in Iran.
