The Ministry of Peace is Now Working With the Ministry of Truth

 

The Pentagon has an entire department filled with Bush Administration installed hacks whose job it is to bypass the traditional media and work directly with talk radio and bloggers. They also provide talking points and briefings to retired military officials who now support the administration in appearances as media pundits.

The project was originally called the "Surrogates Operation" and is now called "Communications Outreach," and was founded by former ABC executive and assistant secretary of defense for public affairs Dorrance Smith. Dorrance Smith also used to work for former president Bush as an advisor. (You can read more about him here and here.)
