Love it! That's quite a crowd in that bus. What a shame.

Too bad you couldn't shove that load (and I do mean load) onto Ken Kesey's bus.

All would be well in short order.

So true. Great job, Rev. Wright.

I'm starting to feel like an asshole for defending him.

I just watched Obama's speech. He seemed pissed to me.

Like dean wormer, I feel a little ookie having defended Wright.

I felt sorry for Obama. He tried to be loyal to his friend and his friend used that loyalty to harm Obama and also to feed his own ego.

Obama tossed Wright off the bus and left him in the dust. Good for Obama! Now let's get busy and make Obama the next president.

DCup: It's amzaing how many members of the allegedly "left wing" media are actually McCainihacks. **sigh**

MWB: That is so freakin' scary and hopefully not true. :o(

Spirula: Whee! I wanna go on Ken Kesey's bus! I already look like a hippy, don'tcha know.

Dean Wormer: His words were sort of weird, but he has turned out to be a total asshole.

Unconventional Conventionist: He did seem sort of displeased. Let the distancing begin!

Dr. Monkerstein: Humans in general are suspect, if you ask me.

Pidomon: Indeed! According to the media, Rev. Wright and Obama are the same person. **sigh**

Distributorcap: I don't think he looked beaten, just resolved. The "Right" is wrong as well...

Pissed Off Patricia: I couldn't agree more! You put it very well... :o)

I dunno. The only thing I really disagree with when I actually look at Jeremiah Wright's speeches is the notion that HIV was introduced by the government -- that's pretty outrageous. Unless I'm missing something dramatic though, I actually agree with everything else he says. I think most white Americans really are blind to the sort of actions that are taken for our benefit at the detriment to others -- when those actions could have been taken to the benefit of everyone.

One can argue that Wright speaking out damages the Obama campaign, but are we really willing to argue that, if this is what Wright really, truly believes, he should be silent and let it continue? My take on this is that it isn't so much about Wright vs. Obama but the Mainstream Media vs. Obama. I was wondering when the media would get their mitts on something they could tie around Obama like a lead anchor. Hilary Clinton comes with plenty of baggage, after all, and that "Straight Talkin' maverick" McCain has them eating out of his hand so we can expect to hear nothing but "Hagee? Never heard of him. Let's talk about Wright's hate speech!" until the election is over.

C4 is spot on, thought it's, unfortunately, not just the MSM but the vast hordes of the Mainstream Public which refute reality so strenuously whenever it opposes their delusions.

C'est la vie, don'tchyaknow.
