The Moving Goalpost Syndrome

You must admit that...
The speed at which the White House goal posts move is quite impressive, but...

Hillary Clinton's ever-changing election goal posts are rocket powered!

Hillary's goalposts were apparently made by ACME as well.

We know how well their stuff works.

I'm going to petition the NFL for moving goalposts. You ever try to kick a 50-yard field goal into the wind?

Good one - very true in both cases.

From what I can surmise, there are no goalposts.

Goal posts were made to be moved! It's less elitist that way.

Dave The Angry Rhode Islander: Thanks!

Dean Wormer: Hillary and Wile E. Coyote are on the sam wavelength, if you ask me.

Randal Graves: No, but if you hum a few bars... ;o)

Mauigirl: Thanks!

Spirula: Not any reality-base goalposts, no. :o)

Comrade Kevin: After the game, the king and the pawn go into the same box.

Swinebread: Yep! And the rules change on a daily basis.

Wyldth1ng: Thanks!

Dguzman: I think that this election will be elitist regardless.

Unconventional Conventionist: Hey! Thanks for pointing that out!

Dr. Monkerstein: I don't hate America, just the president!

metasonix: Hey! Thanks for the link! I have blogrolled you.

Hillarys goal posts are PEOPLE powered. Clearly it's the PEOPLE who want her to continue in this race. If they didn't, Obama would have been able to close the deal a long time ago.

Looks like tuning forks, to me. I think Hillary should trade hers in and get new ones to give to Bill. His latest racial (racist?) comments sure don't ring right.

Bac: People-powered? I am now guessing that the missiles combust a sort of Soylent Green-derived fuel.

BAC: If you say so. I thought that the issue was that she has continually challenged the existing rules set by the DNC before the election, but only after it was to her advantage to do so. If Hillary wins, I will vote for her - even if she continues to act in a fashion that is destructive to the party and makes me lose all respect for her. (Which is becoming increasingly the case, in my opinion.) Will you say the same for Obama?

Distributorcap: This Warner Brothers cartoon just gets stranger and stranger. **sigh**

Dmarks: They do seem to resonate with some of the voters - the Republican ones. Soylent Green? Two helpings please!

As a former FL resident, I'm glad that my candidate is willing to fight for the voters in FL and MI. Howard Dean, on Meet The Press this weekend, said "the voters didn't do anything wrong." And there is an easy fix. Let the people revote! Oh, wait ... they wanted to in MI, but Obama's state campaign chair blocked it! Guess he didn't want to watch his guy lose twice. And to answer your question, I have said in the past that if Obama is the nominee I will hold my nose and vote.
