Raquel Welch in the Film, "Fantastic Voyage"
No time for blogging today! Dr. Peterson and I are on board a submarine, the Proteus, inside the brain of Soviet Scientist Jan Benes. We are busy trying to repair a blood clot caused by his prolonged exposure to the Mainstream Media! (His defection to the west is critical to my budget deficit miniaturization program. We must not shrink from our financial duties!) In the meantime you can watch this swell video of the scene of Raquel Welch in the film, "Fantastic Voyage", when her crew members had to save Ms. Welch in the nick of time by groping her body to pull off the evil, slimy anti-bodies that are clinging to her skintight white-rubber wetsuit! (Aside from my acute knowledge of the brain, I also have vast experience of the miniaturization process, because during my presidential campaign I have had to deal with the small minds of so many neoconservative voters.)

In the latest episode, Amy Walter and John 'something-or-other' discuss the Democrats' big win in Mississippi's special election for the first congressional district, the third Democratic special congressional election win in a row. Also discussed is Hillary Clinton's big win in West Virgina, and the relative campaigns of Clinton, Obama and McCain.
Remember, Amy Walter is the Editor in Chief of "The Hotline" and has a weekly column in National Journal. She is part of a hoity-toity, non-partisan news organization that provides "Insight for Insiders" to members of Congress, Capitol Hill staffers, the White House, Executive Branch agencies, the media, think tanks, corporations, associations and lobbyists. This is the news that the stiffs in Washington are watching.

Appease-Porridge-Hot, Appease-Porridge-Cold, Appease-Porridge-in-the-pot...

President Bush: "As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is – the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history." [...] "Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all the time," [...] "We have an obligation to call this what it is -- the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history."
Think Progress [ 2 ]
When Republican's start rattling sabers, it's always fun to remind them that the Republican Party ran on a platform of "non-intervention" in both WWI and WWII. The senator that Bush is quoting is one of those Republicans, Senator William Edgar Borah, the "Lion of Idaho". Also, President Bush's Grandfather, Senator Prescott Sheldon Bush, was one of this country's most notorious Nazi appeasers and financiers.
How can anyone in this country be expected to take advice from President Bush on any matter related to foreign policy? Only a fool would tie their career to such a ridiculous statement. (Oops! That's just what John McCain did!)
Does anybody remember when Donald Rumsfeld said that Democrats want to make sure that terrorists eat their vegetables?

Sometimes Puppies And Rainbows are not Enough!
No time for blogging today! I am too busy spreading my political message of Chocolate Cake and Happy Underpants to the world. (Sometimes puppies and rainbows are not enough!) In the meantime you can watch this swell video of Raquel Welch doing the "Space-Girl Dance". (This is better than the scene in "Fantastic Voyage" when her crew members had to save Ms. Welch in the nick of time by groping her body to pull off the evil, slimy anti-bodies that are clinging to her skintight wetsuit! Phew!)
Stand back, I'm a doctor. You go get an ambulance, I'll loosen her clothes.

I was tagged for this meme by Jess Wundrun, whom I shall exact revenge from at a later date. The meme goes like this:
* The rules of the game get posted at the beginning.
* Each player answers the questions about himself or herself.
* At the end of the post, the player then tags five people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1. Ten years ago I was:
Younger.
2. Five Things on Today's To Do List:
I'm really not that organized - I don't make out "To Do Lists" on a daily basis. My day usually starts with a big pot of coffee, though. There are often meals and sleeping involved.
3. Things I'd do if I were a billionaire
I would join forces with George Soros and his Secret Robot Army to buy FOX News. I would not fire any stars of the existing FOX News shows - I would instead hold them to their contracts and force them to work from 2 A.M. to 5 A.M. selling products that are guaranteed to enlarge that "certain part of the male anatomy". During regular hours I would hire all of my favorite bloggers and people from Think Progress and Media Matters to run the network.
4. Three Bad Habits
In my youth, I used to read a book every day or two when I was younger, but I have not read a book from start to finish since the internet. I read voraciously, just not books anymore.
I love old movies, especially old horror and sci-fi movies. I will watch an old movie over and over again, even when there is something new and perhaps more intersting on.
I am a terrible slob.
5. Five Places I've lived
Beta Antares IV, Caladan, Delta Vega, Endor, Triskelion, etc.
6. Five Jobs I've had in life:
* Busboy and Waiter.
* Stat Camera Technician, Color Separation, etc.
* Animator, Art Assistant and Freelance Web Designer.
* Technical Support Specialist.
* Minister of Science and Chief Protector of the Faith (Ape City).
Ipersecute tag the following bloggers: BAC [ 2 ], Übermilf, The Unconventional Conventionist, Madam Z, Pissed Off Patricia, Batocchio and Jon the Intergalactic Gladiator.

An Important Message From Batman and Robin
After watching this video of West Virgina voters, and comparing it to this compilation of statements made by Hillary Clinton supporters [ 2 ], I think that everyone needs to read this important message from Batman and Robin.
